EIGHT TO THE BAR TURNED 50 YEARS OLD LAST YEAR (2025)! WE HAD 4 WONDERFUL 50TH ANNIVERSARY/75ERS REUNION SHOWS AT THE KNICK (WESTERLY, RI) IN MAY, THE LITCHFIELD (CT) COMMUNITY CENTER IN JULY, TOAD'S PLACE ON AUGUST 28, AND “THE KATE” IN OLD SAYBROOK, CT.
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON'T GO BACK THAT FAR WITH US, ETTB STARTED OUT IN 1975 AS AN 8-PIECE WESTERN SWING BAND WITH A PEDAL STEEL GUITAR, A FEMALE VOCAL TRIO, AND A GREAT MALE LEAD VOCALIST. THIS LINEUP SPENT THE LAST SEVERAL MONTHS RECORDING A CD OF ALL THE SONGS WE USED TO PLAY BACK IN THE SEVENTIES WHEN WE STARTED OUT.
